The Biggest Lesson of The Life

In an interview on a radio programme, a famous personality
development trainer Dale Carnegie was asked
"What is the biggest lesson you have ever learned, in your life?"
.
Then Dale Carnegie told the following answer.
"By far, the most important lesson I have ever learned is --
the importance of what we think. If I knew what you think, I would
know what you are. Our thoughts make us what we are. Our mental
attitude is the main factor that determines our fate. Emerson said:
"A man is what he thinks about all day long."
The biggest problem and almost the one and only problem we have
to deal with is --choosing the right thoughts. If we can do that, we will
be on the high road to solving all our problems.
"Our life is what our thoughts make it."
Yes, if we think happy thoughts, we will be happy.
If we think miserable thoughts, we will be miserable.
If we think fear thoughts, we will be fearful.
If we think sickly thoughts, we will be ill.
If we think failure, we will certainly fail.
If we wallow in self-pity, everyone will want to avoid us.
.
I am deeply convinced that our peace of mind and the joy we get
out of living depends not on where we are, or what we have, or
who we are. It completely depends upon our mental attitude.
Outward conditions have very little to do with it.
.
Napoleon and Helen Keller are perfect illustrations for this.
Napoleon had everything men usually crave-glory, power, riches.
Yet he said at St. Helena: "I have never known six happy days
in my life." He could not choose right and positive thoughts.
So he was unhappy in his life.
While Helen Keller who was blind, deaf, dumb, said
"I have found life so beautiful." She could choose right and
positive thoughts. So she could be happy in her life.
.
Remember "Our life is what our thoughts make it. Choose right and
positive thoughts all the day. This is the only thing that can make
your life happy"
