Andrew William Carnegie was born on 25th November 1835 at Dumfermline, Scotland ( UK ) in a poor family

Andrew CarnegieHis father's profession was weaving clothes in a Handloom Factory.
When Andrew was young, he used to go at sea coast, there he dream about his bright future and luxorious life
in United States of America.
His first job at age 13 in 1848 was as a bobbin boy, changing spools of thread in a cotton mill twelve hours a day, six days a week. His wages was $2.00 per week, then after Scotland faced starvation and drought, William Carnegie father of Andrew decided to move with his family to Pennsylvania in the United States for better living prospectus.

William Carnegie, started off working in a cotton mill and Andrew's mother, Margaret Morrison Carnegie, earned money by binding shoes.
Then in 1850, Carnegie became a telegraph messenger boy in the Pittsburgh Office of the Ohio Telegraph Company at 2.50$ per week.
Starting in 1853, Thomas Scott of the Pennsylvania Rail Road Company employed Carnegie as a secretary/telegraph operator at a salary of $4.00 per week. At age eighteen, the youth began a rapid advancement through the company, becoming the superintendent of the Pittsburgh Division. His employment by the Pennsylvania Railroad Company would be vital to his later success.
At Rail Road Company he handled a project of Railway Sleeping Cars, and steel was used for the first time in creating those sleeping cars, an idea purposed by Carnegie himself.
Later on, he invested money in Oil industry and then at the late 1880's he thought Steel as the growing product and started a small steel unit. Then he founded a steel empire named, Carnegie Steel Co.
By the end of 1900's Carnegie became World's Richest Man of 20th Century with smart business skills and investments.
he commercialize steel on a large scale, launched dividends and other investments of Carnegie Group of Industries.

At 1901 Andrew Carnegie officially retired and adapted a different ideology of public charity mentioned in his written book " The Gospel of Wealth "

He quoted that " i promise to take an income no greater than $50,000 per annum! Beyond this I need ever earn, make no effort to increase my fortune, but spend the surplus each year for benevolent purposes!"

He invested his wealth on establishment of public libraries, public facilities and science welfare in UK and USA.
Many peoples of USA claims to have Secret Financial Aid provided by Andrew Carnegie for social welfare purposes.

The Richest man of 20th century  Andrew Carnegie  died on 11 August 1919 , with these last words
" A man who dies rich dies disgraced "
