A unexpected gift

A postman knocked on the door of a house, saying, "Letter."  A child like voice came from inside, "I am coming."

But the inside person did not come until five minutes. The postman
shouted "Hey, please come fast and take the letter."

The child's voice again said, "Mr. Postman, put the letter under
the door , I'm coming."

The postman said," No, it's a registered letter with an
acknowledgment. You should come and sign".

Approximately ten minutes later the door was opened. Then
the postman was going to shout at the person who opened
the door. But he was shocked to see a ten year old girl with no feet.
She was kneeling on her knees in front of him.

The girl signed and took the letter. The postman left the house,
feeling sorry. Whenever the postman came to the house, he started
waiting for the opening of the door. It became his habit.

Diwali (an Indian festival) was approaching.The child saw that
the postman was always barefoot. Just before Diwali when the
postman came, the child told him "Uncle, it's a gift from me to
you on Diwali."

Postman said, "You are like a daughter to me, how can I take any
gift from you? The child insisted.

Then he took it and opened the packet. He was surprised and his
eyes were filled with tears when he saw a pair of shoes. Because
during his entire service no one had even noticed that he was
barefoot always.

He asked "You don't not know my foot size. How could you buy
a pair of shows which are fit to my feet?"

The small girl replied "One day you left dirt marks of your feet
on the floor. Then I measured the dirt with a scale and noted the length "

The postman surprised with the love and care of the girl.
With wet eyes, he bent down and kissed the girl's forehead.
