A young couple are travelling on a train alone on their compartment.
As the train stops at a station, an old man and his 25-year-old son
climb into the compartment and sit down.
As the train starts to move, the young man is filled with joy and
curiosity. He sits at a window seat and presses his face against the
bars and put his hand out in excitement and shouts,
“Dad....see all trees are going behind”.
The old man smiles at his son’s excitement. The couple sitting in the
booth are amazed and a little embarrassed at seeing the youth who
behaves like a kid. Suddenly young man shouts again,
“Dad.. see the pond and animals and clouds are moving with the train”.
The couple is really disturbed with the young man's stupidity.
As it starts raining, the man stretches his arm completely out of the
window and as the water drops dampen his arm, he is filled with joy.
“Look at the rain Dad. Look, look.. My hand is full of water”
The couple feels uneasy.
Later the young man sees another train beside his train.
He shouts again "Dad.. see this. Another train...
This is running slower."
The couple is frustrated and turn to the old man and say,
“Don’t you think you should take your son to a doctor?"
The Old man looks at them, smiles and says,
“We are just returning from the hospital.
Since childhood, he has been blind.
Today itself, he got sight in his eyes".
Moral: “Don’t draw conclusions until you know all the facts”.
